If you have updated from Quicken 2015 to the latest release

You will need to refresh branding and profile settings. In case you haven’t upgraded from Quicken 2015, continue to the Delete Temporary Internet Files section below.

  • First, you need to select the Tools menu, then choose the Online Center.
  • Now click the Financial Institution drop-down arrow and select the financial institution.
  • Furthermore, press CTRL+Shift while selecting Contact Info and then select one of the accounts associated with the bank from the dropdown list
  • Now select Financial Institution Branding and Profile from the list and click Refresh.
  • After that click OK and go online by clicking the Update/Send button.
  • Attempt your online session again.

Delete your temporary internet files and try again

Windows 10:

  • First and the foremost, click the Start button and select the Control Panel. If Windows 10 then the Control Panel is located in the Windows System folder in the Start menu.
  • Now click Network and Internet and then click Internet Options.
  • After that click the General tab, and then click Delete under Browsing history.
  • Hence click Delete all and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this information, after that click OK.

In case you do not see the Control Panel, follow these steps:

  • First of all, right-click the Start button and select the File Explorer.
  • Now right-click the C: drive and select Properties.
  • You need to click Disk Cleanup and then uncheck everything except Temporary Internet Files.
  • Now click OK and then click Delete Files.

Windows 7/8

  • First, click the Start button and choose Control Panel.
  • Now click Network and Internet and then click Internet Options.
  • Furthermore, click the General tab, and then click Delete under Browsing history.
  • Now click Delete all, click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this information, and then click OK.

Quicken does not have access to the financial institution’s servers to be able to correct the problem.
