Download, Install and Activate Quickbooks on Windows

Before you start downloading the Quickbooks, check the system requirement for Windows device and update your device according to the requirement. Also, keep all your system applications including the web browser up-to-date.

Download Quickbooks

  • Open a web browser on your computer, in which you want to install Quickbooks.

Install Quickbooks

    • To start will the installation, navigate to the downloaded Quickbooks file.

    • Double-click on that file to Run the installer.

    • When the installer wizard appears, Click next and agree to the license and agreements.

    • If prompted, enter your QuickBooks License and Product number.

      • Check the scratch-off label inside the CD box (for Offline Purchase).

  • Custom or Network Option: To share Quickbooks data with another user on the network and to use the Multiple-version of the Software, choose this option.

  • Next instruction will ask you “where you will be using this software?”.

  • Now, you will be prompted to choose the installation location on your computer.

  • Click Install button once you are satisfied with your changes. Otherwise go back and make changes.

  • The installation may take a while. Restart your computer after the successful installation.

Activate Quickbooks

  • It is possible that your product is already activated and registered.

  • To check whether it is registered or activated, follow these steps:

    • Launch the Quickbooks Application and press F2 key on your keyboard.

    • It will open all your product information, registration status, and license number.
