Changing Administrative Password of your Netgear Router
Now your Netgear router is configured and good for use, you can change your router’s default password and make your network more secure. It is advised to change to a strong password which will not be possible for hackers and attackers to access.
To make a strong password do not use your name or personal detail. This is really easy for intruder to guess. It is recommended to use uppercase and lowercase characters and special Characters in your password.
Open Netgear Genie on the web browser of your device.
Click on the Advanced option on your screen.
On the left side of your page navigate to Administration
button and click on it.Now enter the new password in the box and verify it.
It will take few seconds to reboot your router.
Enter the new password on your device and start using
a secure network.
