  • Turn on the Bluetooth first by going to your mobile settings.
  • Close the Garmin Connect application, then restart it after waiting for a few seconds as it can help solve the problem.
  • Note: If you close an application on your mobile phone, it may still be running in the background. So, in that case, you need to ensure that the recent apps on your phone are closed.

 For Andriod Users 

  • You first need to launch the Garmin Connect application on your Android phone.
  • From the top left corner opt for the “Menu” option. 
  • Scroll down through the window and choose “Garmin Devices”. 
  • Press and hold the image of the Garmin device that you wish to delete. 
  • From the pop-up box that appears, click on the “Remove Devices” tab. 
  • In the next screen, acknowledge the message by tapping on “Remove”.
  • Note: Your Garmin device will still remain paired under the Bluetooth Settings of your mobile phone. So, you have to remove the device from the settings. The settings on your mobile phone may vary as per your mobile model.

  • Thereafter, select an icon denoting three dots from the top right corner.
  • Next, opt for the “Remove Device” tab.
  • From the pop-up box that appears, click on the “Remove” tab. 
  • Go to the Settings menu on your mobile phone and tap on “Bluetooth”. 
  • Under the section of My Devices tap on the “Information” icon beside the Garmin device that you wish to remove. 
  • Next, select the “Forget this device tab. 
  • Close the Garmin Connect app and then reboot both your Garmin device and your mobile phone.

    • Tap on “Add Device” > Opt for your preferred device.
